Comforts of guest room were fabulous - a fridge, central heating and coffee/tea makers. I really enjoyed coffee, tea, fruit juice, toast and cereals served for breakfast. The staff team was very welcoming and nice at any time.

My single room with a sea view was nice, I enjoyed the Jacuzzi bath and made good use of the fridge provided the the room. Breakfast was good.
Unfortunately my front door handle came off and it took 2-3min to open the (faulty) door with a slide card system. The windows were very stiff to close, just needed some DW40, and I had damp from the ceiling in bathroom, which needed repair. A general repair all round I think is lacking, apart from that I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent seafront location overlooking prom, within easy walking distance of Pier, gardens, shops, and bus routes to Beachy Head and South Downs. Specifically booked a seaview room, and was definitely not disappointed - very comfortable first floor room with large windows looking right onto beach. Fridge in room was an added bonus. Although the hotel is busy with coach parties, the restaurant staff still provided excellent service to a solo traveller, and ensured I was allocated the same table for breakfast for the duration of my stay.

Staff generally very helpful and polite, from Reception and Dining Room to Housekeeping.
Surprised at 'pay on arrival' system for a prestigious hotel. Tends to make guests feel like criminals. Or maybe some are!

The breakfast here is great with well done fried eggs and the staff is very welcoming; the hotel units are nicely furnished, soundproof, and offer a view of the bandstand.

Bathroom and bedroom extremely small . Bed very hard. Had better breakfasts in much cheaper hotels.Too many vases of silk flowers . everywhere . Very overpriced.

We had a sea view room on 3rd floor, room and bathroom good size and clean. Other than bath and tv room rather dated, must have missed this one on refurb. Breakfast good.
We stayed on Sat night end of July No Food and Bar Closed, very disappointed

I regret to say that because my stay was for only one night I was made to feel that I didnt matter, so unfortunately my experience was not very good.
I requested dinner but was told it was full. This is not acceptable for a paying guest.
